Voting Information Annual Town Election--March 27, 2018

Here is information on all things related to the Annual Town Election which is scheduled for Tuesday, March 27, 2018.

The last day to register to vote for the Annual Town Election is Wednesday, March 7th.  The Town Clerk's Office will be open until 8 PM.  In the case of inclement weather voter registration forms will also be available at the Police Department.

Nomination papers for Town Meeting have closed.

Absentee Ballots are now available for the March 27, 2018 Annual Town Election. 

(There will not be any Early Voting for this election)


According to the Secretary of the Commonwealth, a voter may vote absentee for the following reasons:
  • Absence from the voter's city or town on Election Day; or
  • Physical disability that prevents you from going to the polls; or
  • Religious belief that prevents you from going to the polls

Voting by absentee ballot


An absentee ballot application may be requested by either the voter themselves or a family member (spouse, roommate, parent, sibling, child, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, grandparent, grandchild, in-law). 
  • Application Request by voter
  • Once the Town Clerk's office receives the application, an absentee ballot will be mailed to the address provided. Ballots may NOT be picked up at the Clerk's Office
  • A voter may vote over the counter at the same time they fill out the application in the Clerk's office but may not remove a ballot from the office.
  • If a ballot is not filled out in our office it must be mailed directly to the voter.  That ballot may be mailed back into the office or may be brought back to the Town Clerk's office (NOT TO THE POLLS) by 8 PM on election night.

Polls open 7:00 am - 8:00 pm
Every polling location will provide visually impaired voters an accessible option for voting. Please see the Warden at your location.

Voter Registration


Last day to register to vote for the Annual Town Election is Wednesday, March 7, 2018. The Town Clerk's office will be open until 8:00 pm.  To check if registered click here or call the Town Clerk's office at 508-647-6430 x4.  Making sure that you are registered before election day will help make your voting experience smoother.

There are three ways to register to vote:
  1. Online - Secretary of the Commonwealth's website (Must have valid MA Drivers license or state ID)
  2. Download voter registration form and mail to the Town Clerk's office, 13 East Central Street, Natick, MA 01760
  3. In Person - Town Clerks Office (Mon.-Wed 8:00am - 5:00pm, Thurs. 8:00am - 7:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 12:30pm)
