District Improvement Financing (DIF)
Public Hearing: A public hearing on the DIF is scheduled for 7:00 PM on September 19, 2005 in the Morse Institute Library (Meeting Hall) located at 14 East Central Street in Natick, MA 01760

Proposed Project:  This page provides information regarding the Project being proposed for the DIF.  It uses the terminology used by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts when discussing the DIF. To avoid confusion, please note the following:

Program: Program refers to the development program proposed by the town – the replacement of the Middlesex Avenue Parking Garage with a new, 360 car parking garage.

District: The area included in the DIF.  The District can be a single area (a square or some other shape), a few areas connected by a strip of land (dumbbell-shaped) or separate areas of Town that do not physically touch (like spots on a leopard).

Please Note - the Commonwealth requires cities and towns to submit extensive applications in order to participate in the DIF. The DIF Committee has developed this application to help ensure that residents of Natick know exactly what is being proposed. Copies of the full application are on file in the Morse Institute Library, the Office of the Town Clerk and the Office of the Board of  Selectmen and are available for public inpection.

Feedback is Welcome: If you have thoughts about the DIF that you would like to share, please e-mail DIF@natickma.org
