PROCEDURES
1. Three (3) sets of stamped plans must be submitted to the Fire Department, 22 East Central Street, for their plan review. There is a plan review fee required by the Fire Department.
2. After they are approved by the Fire Plan Examiner, Maurice Pilette, two (2) sets of plans are sent to this Office with the following documents:
a. Application
b. Construction Control Affidavit
c. Certificate of Insurance
d. Fee ($10.00 per thousand rounded to highest thousand-- construction cost)
e. Carpet -- Radiant Flux Panel Test required
f. Paint -- Flame Spread Rating required
Type of Construction, Occupancy Load and correct address must be on
the plans.
3. For signage the following must be submitted:
a. 2 renderings of the sign (showing dimensions)
b. Application
c. Detail sheet showing how the signs will be mounted
d. Fee ($40.00 per sign under 32 sq. ft.; $60.00 per sign over 32 sq. ft.)
e. Standing Sign – plot plan required showing location of sign and setbacks.
