The Council on Aging offers a comprehensive package of health, educational and social services, helping older people access a full range of essential services.
Who are we?
The Council on Aging is a TOWN OF NATICK department. It has an advisory board of up to eleven members who are appointed by the Board of Selectmen.
Their primary role is to advocate for services to meet the needs of older people in the Town of Natick. The Council on Aging advisory board usually meets the first Monday of the month at 7:00 PM at the Kennedy Senior Center. Meetings are open to the public.

In addition to the staff, we rely heavily on the large corps of dedicated volunteers who help answer phones, teach classes, lead groups, care for our plants, collate and label our newsletters, provide services to homebound elders such as transportation, home-delivered meals and friendy visiting and much, much more!
Hours of Operation:
The Kennedy Senior Center is located at 117 East Central Street in a building attached to the Natick District Court. The Kennedy Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM. The center is closed on holidays and "snow days." The rule for inclement weather is that if the Natick Public Schools are canceled for the day, then so are all Senior Center programs, including meals. However, the office will remain open and staffed unless the Town Hall is also closed due to weather.
"Friends"
The "Friends" of the Kennedy Senior Center are a non-profit organization formed to raise funds for the Senior Center. The Friends of the Natick Senior Center, Inc. was organized to assist the Council on Aging by raising funds to underwrite the cost of producing and mailing the monthly newsletter, the Natick Sentinel. In addition, over the years "Friends" contributions helped fund computers for the computer lab, program instructor fees, refreshments and extra costs for special events, furnishings, daily coffee, and other things. The "Friends" maintain a treasury by raising funds through annual membership dues; special events such as bake sales, raffles, fashion shows, trips, Early Bird Suppers, yard sales, craft sales, antique appraisal show, appeal letter, and through gifts, bequests, memorials and much, much
more!
We would like you for a Friend! Please join us. All you need to do is drop by the Senior Center with your $8.00 (Natick Resident) or $10.00 (Non-Resident) membership dues. Add an extra donation if you can. Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of the month at 10:00. We hope you can join us!
