The Natick Neighborhood Bus provides hourly service along two fixed routes from the Common throughout the town of Natick for a fare of $1.00 The Southwest bus operates from 7:15 A.M. until 5:15 P.M. The Northeast bus operates from 9:45 A.M. until 5:45 P.M. A single bus operates from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Saturdays. The Natick Neighborhood Bus is handicapped accessible, but does not provide door to door service. To request a schedule or for more information call the dispatcher at (508) 651-6446 between 7:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. Monday through Friday.

This service is provided by the Town and managed by the Natick Neighborhood Bus. This is a shared ride service provided from the threshold of the main entrance of the rider's point of origin to the appropriate threshold of the rider's destination. The Van operates between the hours of 7:45am - 3:30pm.The fare is $2.00 round trip. The driver will assist individuals who use wheelchairs, at drop off and pick up locations, over a maximum of one curb and/or one step. The MBTA's Framingham-Worcester commuter rail line to Boston's South Station stops in West Natick and Natick Center. For more information about routes, schedules and fares call the MBTA Customer Information Center at (800) 392-6100/TDD (617) 222-5146, visit their Web Site, or stop by the Kennedy Senior Center for a schedule.

Reduced fare passes for seniors (65 or older) can be obtained by mail. You must send the following to MBTA Senior Access Pass Office, 145 Dartmouth Street, Boston, MA 02116-5162:
1) 1"x 1" photo (either black or white or color) of applicant's face,
2) photocopy of an ID showing birthday and current name and address, and
3) 50cents cash or money order.

The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) provides door-to-door transportation for individuals with disabilities who cannot fully utilize regular MBTA buses and trains some or all of the time. Rides are subject to availability based on customer volume. The program is administered by the MBTA Office of Transportation Access, Ten Park Plaza, Room 4730, Boston, MA 02116 (800) 533-6282/TDD (617) 222-5415. For more information and assistance filling out an application, contact Elder Advocates at the Kennedy Senior Center at (508) 647-6540.

Medicaid Transportation |
Elders on Medicaid/SSI can receive services to medical appointments if they have no access to other transportation and meet other program qualifications. Call (800) 841-2900 for more information.

Kennedy Senior Center |
Volunteers provide local transportation for medical appointments, food shopping, and senior center activities, subject to availability of the volunteers. The center will also pay a portion of a cab fare for long distance appointments in some instances where alternative transportation is not available. Please call at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment at (508) 647-6540.

Busy Bee Transportation |
Busy Bee provides local, accessible, door-to-door transportation for medical appointments for persons 60 years of age or older. The service is available Monday through Friday. Customers may be picked up for an appointment from 9:30am to 1:30pm, and dropped off at home until 4:00pm. A donation of $3.00 each way is requested. If you would like to schedule a ride, call (508) 881-2120 up to two weeks in advance (but at least a day in advance). Rides are subject to availability based on customer volume.
