The meeting was called to order by Matt at 7:05 p.m.
Beta Group Presentation
Employees of Beta Group, the consulting company under contract to the Town of Natick, had, on short notice, compiled a presentation about their experience with projects similar to the Natick CRT. The Beta Group serves as Natick's On Call Traffic Engineer and is working with the Town of Framingham for traffic and environmental work on their portion of the CRT. Beta Group presented their ideas and qualifications for about 90 minutes and answered questions from the Committee on topics such as public outreach, pollution barriers, and signage.
Discussion of Presentation
After Beta Group left, the Committee discussed whether to seek proposals from additional consulting firms. The Committee voted unanimously to seek additional proposals.
3) Future Meeting Dates
A July 14th meeting date was set to answer questions about the RFP.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:01 p.m.
Respectfully submitted by Dave Camacho and Matt Daniels.
