What bid law(s) does Natick follow?

Natick is subject to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B for the procurement of goods and services, MGL Chapter 30, Section 39M for public works projects, Chapter 149, Section 44A  for public building projects and Chapter 7 for designer selection. The Natick By-Law pertaining to award of contracts is Article 41- Contracts, Town Property, and Regulations of Town Boards and Officials.


How do I find out about upcoming bids?

Natick advertises bids in the MetroWest Daily News and posts notices on the Town Bulletin Board at 13 East Central Street, Town Hall and on the Town website. In addition, public works and public building projects estimated to cost over $25,000 are advertised in the Central Register and goods and services procurements estimated to cost over $100,000 are advertised in the Goods & Services Bulletin. The Central Register and the Goods & Services Bulletin are published by the Secretary of State. Both publications are available by subscription or may be viewed locally at the Morse Institute Library Circulation Desk on  the second floor.
