Invitation For Bids
The Town of Natick, through the Board of Selectmen, invites the submission of sealed bids for Roadway Improvements at Various Locations. Bids will be received until 11:00 AM local time Thursday, April 21st, 2011, at the Procurement Office, 13 East Central Street, Natick, MA 01760 at which time and place bids will be publicly opened. Sealed envelope containing bid shall be marked Bid for Roadway Improvements at Various Locations. Bidders must be listed on the MassDOT Currently Prequalified Construction Contractors List provided to the Town. Pre-qualification by the Massachusetts Highway Department (MHD) is required in order for contractors to receive an official copy of the bid proposal and to be considered for award.
Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at the Procurement Office, Natick Town Hall, 13 East Central Street, Natick, MA 01760. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date designated for the opening. Bids for this Contract are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws (MGL) Chapter 30, Section 39M. Wage rates are required per MGL, Chapter 149, and the reporting associated thereto. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town and to limit the extent of the work to keep within the limits of available funds.
