BOARD OF SELECTMEN

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman John Ciccariello at 7:00 p.m.
PRESENT: John Ciccariello, Joshua Ostroff, Kristine Van Amsterdam, Carol A. Gloff, John Connolly.
ALSO PRESENT: Martha L. White, Town Administrator, Maureen Fleming, Secretary
WARRANTS; Payroll warrants were signed by the Board of Selectmen on March 2, 2009 in the amount of $ . This figure was included in total warrants signed by the Board of Selectmen of $ .
SWEARING IN OF ELECTED OFFICIALS
Mr. Ciccariello introduced our new Interim Town Clerk, Onorina Maloney, to conduct this portion of the meeting.
Ms. Maloney said she would first like to have all the newly elected official stand up and she then read the oath of office, swearing them all in to their respective seats.
REORGANIZATION
Chairman Ciccariello thanked everyone who ran for office and was elected, as well as those that do not get elected. He expressed his thanks for their involvement. He welcomed back Joshua Ostroff to the Board of Selectmen and congratulated him on his tremendous effort. Mr. Ciccariello stated that he wished more people would get involved.
Mr. Ostroff wished to acknowledge the thousands of citizens who took the time to come out for this election and vote. He said that he does not take this responsibility lightly and will do his best for the people of Natick.
John Connolly nominated John Ciccariello as Chair, seconded by Kristine Van Amsterdam and so voted 3-2. Mr. Ostroff and Ms. Gloff both abstained.
John Ciccariello then nominated Joshua Ostroff as Vice Chair, seconded by Kristine Van Amsterdam and unanimously voted.
John Connolly nominated Kristine Van Amsterdam as Clerk seconded by John Ciccariello and unanimously voted.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. Mr. Ostroff made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mr. Ciccariello and unanimously voted.
