    Summary: With her uncle’s cape, training from Grandpa Joe, a retired sheriff, and her drooling dog Raymond as her sidekick, fourth-grader Jo Schmo becomes a superhero, catching bank robbers and foiling Dr. Dastardly’s plan to take over San Francisco using reanimated dinosaurs.

  5. Tea: The First Wicked Deed

    February 21, 2017, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Bacon Free Library

    A program presented by Author/ Historian Dory Codington – using many images and research she had done for her novels, Dory tells the story of how women in the Massachusetts countryside became passionate about Independence, even before their brothers, husbands and fathers. She will discuss the social changes that led women toward revolution, and how they influenced their families, first with simple domestic changes and finally giving in to the inevitable war.

    We’ll have some tea to celebrate this event!
