 The Town of Natick, like any corporation or government entity, has its credit worthiness rated before selling any amount of
municipal bonds (permanent debt) or temporary notes (temporary debt or Bond Anticipation Notes - BAN's). We are proud to state that since 2008, Natick's bond rating has held stable at AAA as rated by Standard & Poors (S&P). S&P states that a creditor like Natick with a AAA rating: "has extremely strong capacity to meet its financial commitments. 'AAA' is the highest issuer credit rating assigned by Standard & Poor's."
The Town of Natick was last reaffirmed AAA/Stable by Standard & Poors on May 17, 2012.
