The Information Technology Department is a small department staffed by five talented individuals. We report directly to the Town Administrator and are fortunate enough to have an Information Systems Advisory Board comprised of citizens with experience in Information Technology to provide support and advice.
Our responsibilities include but are not limited to providing administration,support and maintenance for the following services:
• Local Area and Town Wide Network (Voice and Data)
• Databases (Oracle, Informix, MySql, SQL Server, Pervuasive SQL)
• Desktop Computers and Servers (300+ Desktops, 15 Servers) and Software
• Town PBX Telephone and Voice Messaging System
• School Administration and Student Scheduling Software (Starbase)
• Web Services
• Network Security and AntiVirus Software
• Provide Direction and Focus for Future Growth
