Minutes of the Corporation Meeting

Call to Order: 4:02 pm
- The Trustees conducted an extended discussion around the matter of the appropriate terminology for certain funds that are held in Fidelity accounts. The discussion centered on the confusion that may be a product of two different accounts having the word “General” applied to them, namely the General Book Fund and the General Fund. The former is a Fidelity account whose principal is restricted and the latter General Fund is a checking account used as a source for the payment of a number of different types of invoices.
The Acting Director presented the Trustees with an analysis of the expenditures from the “General Fund” account that supports the argument for its current use.
Mr. Goodman has scheduled meetings with the auditor and the CPA to continue the discussion on this matter on behalf of the Trustees.
- On a motion by Mr. Goodman, the Board voted unanimously to re-elect the following as officers of the Corporation, Morse Institute in Natick:
President and Secretary: Joseph A. Keefe
Vice President: Kathleen Donovan
Treasurer: Harriet Buckingham
Assistant Treasurer: Gerald Mazor
