Weather Related Closing Information for February 2nd, 2011
natickseal.gifDue to another major winter storm facing Eastern Massachusetts and Natick, Town Administration has closed all Town Offices and Buildings from Tuesday Evening, February 1, 2011 through all of Wednesday, February 2, 2011 (All Tuesday and Wednesday night meetings are cancelled as well).

This has been and continues to be one of the most trying winters in recent memory. We would like to thank all Natick citizens for your continued patience and pledge to continue to do all we can to maintain all of the basic services you expect and need in a timely manner.

Unfortunately, inconveniences are inevitable given the significant snowfall of this winter, and certain delays and are necessary. A list of important information by department is listed below:

Snow Related Emergencies:
All available DPW crews will be out actively engaged in snow removal. Should you need to contact the DPW, please call the afterhours non-emergency number at (508) 647-6550.

NSTAR has notified the Town that residents should report power outages to (800) 592-2000.

Public Works:
Trash & Recycling: Trash & recycling are delayed one day this week.

Procurement:
Filed Sub-Bids for the Community/Senior Center project, previously due on February 2nd, 2011 @ 1:00pm will now be due Monday, February 7th @ 1:00pm. Please Call the Procurement Officer at (508) 647-6438 with any questions you may have.

Finance:
Quarterly tax bills are due February 1st. For those who have been unable to make it to Town Hall through Tuesday's storm, or unable due to Wednesday's closing, the Collector's Office will accept payments at Town Hall thru and including Thursday February 3, 2011 without interest and penalties.


Town offices are planned to be open normal business hours on Thursday, February 3, 2011.

All residents are encouraged to use caution when traveling during this or any winter storm. If possible, restrict or limit travel for the duration of the storm.
