Natick is committed to preparing for the impacts of climate change through both mitigation and resiliency planning.
The Town will work to honor this commitment by developing and making progress on the recommendations outlined in two key climate planning documents. The first of these is Natick’s Community Resilience Building Report, a document which identifies Natick’s strengths and vulnerabilities in the face of climate impacts and focuses on actions to increase resiliency in the face of climate change (e.g., heat events, flooding, more frequent and more intense storms). The second document is a Net Zero Action Plan, which focuses on efforts the Town can undertake to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions.
Public engagement is critical to the success of these planning efforts and we invite you to learn more and get involved.
