In June 2017, the Town through the Board of Selectmen issued a Request for Qualifications to select a consultant to prepare a comprehensive Natick Center Parking Garage Feasibility Study for the existing municipal parking lot at 20 Middlesex Avenue. Walker Consultants was selected to conduct this study and started work in late 2017. An existing conditions assessment, market analysis, stakeholder interviews and functional analysis have been completed by Walker, which has recommended four concepts for consideration at a public input meeting on July 24, 2018. By the fall of 2018, Walker will deliver a final Study that will examine the feasibility and costs associated with building and operating two preferred parking garage designs on the Middlesex Avenue lot.
