Please check out the Voter Information Link and associated pages for more general information on voter registration, polling locations and information on the many ways that you are able to vote.

This page is dedicated to specific information for the September 6, 2022 Primary Election.

Vote by mail postcard were sent to every registered voter by the State. Please note that for the primary you must pick a party (Republican or Democrat). If you are a registered Democrat you must choose a Democratic ballot and if you are registered as a Republican you must pick a Republican ballot. Any unenrolled voter or one who registered in a political designation may choose Republican or Democrat.  If you are an unenrolled voter and do not provide a ballot type we will not be able to send you a ballot.  This application may not be used to change your party enrollment.  In order to change your enrollment you must re-register to vote.  Information on how to do that is located at this link.

We are in the process of mailing out ballots for applications that we have received. If you checked the box for all elections this year you will also receive a ballot for the Special Town election which is scheduled for September 13.

IMPORTANT: All inner envelopes must be signed by the voter.  Primary ballots will have a neon green label that states STATE PRIMARY. The inner envelope must be signed or the ballot will be rejected.

Ballots must be returned to the Clerk's office by 8PM on September 6. They may be dropped in the secure ballot box located to the left of the front door of Town Hall. The box is checked by the Town Clerk's office throughout the day. THE BALLOTS MAY NOT BE RETURNED TO THE POLLS AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED THERE.

The last day to register to vote for this election is Saturday, August 27.
