Desktop Support Specialist

The Technology Department of the Town of Natick is seeking a detail-oriented professional to serve as a full-time Desktop Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Windows, Chromebooks, macOS, iOS, and a variety of other mobile devices in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Associate degree or equivalent in Information Systems or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of related experience maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a multi-platform environment preferred.
Hands-on experience with:
- Windows operating systems
- Chrome devices
- macOS
- Apple iOS
Working knowledge of LAN, WAN, and TCP/IP networking concepts.
Experience with video and computer projection systems is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality customer support to data and voice network users.
Experience in a municipal environment, particularly supporting Public Safety or Public Schools, is highly desirable.
Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Compensation:

This position is Grade 3 of the Town’s Classification Pay Plan with hiring range is $60,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, exempt position. The Town of Natick offers an excellent benefits package.
